Ok, so, I bought the album on CD a couple weeks ago, and I tried to put it on my computer, but my computer doesn't recognize that a CD is even in the drive.
And I know it's not my computer, because I just put some others on that work just fine.
So does any one know if there is some sort of protection on this it? Have you had similar problems with it?
I may be asking in the wrong category . . . but come on rock and pop people, help me out!!!

My copy doesn't have a similar problem at all. You probably got a defective copy, see if it works in anything else that plays CDs.
And of course make sure you didn't put it in upside down haha.
One of the best CDs ever made though, so get it working quick! Or check out the store's return policy.
Raw Power by Iggy Pop and the Stooges?systemworks
check the cd case, there's certain cd alternative...I think it's super cd or something, that only works if you have that specific type of system. it's possible that you accidently bought one of those.
otherwise try somebody else's computer?
Its probably because you're so ignorant and stupid.
You started it, Betch!
Raw Power!
Anyway, first of all, put the album in the CD-RW drive (that's what I always do). I do this with iTunes, so whenever I have iTunes open, I just pop a new CD into the drive and wait for it to ask me if I want to copy the information onto the computer.
If that's not how you usually do it, I guess you could go to CD-RW (E:) in My Computer. If that doesn't work, I don't know. Look at the CD carefully and compare with other CDs I suppose. I'm not the most computer literate person, despite all the time I spend on mine.
