I wanna protect my video recordings .?

i have seen a special protection to some video recordings that allow the video to play on a certain pc but when moved to another computer they never work



any help

Those recordings use some form of DRM (Digital rights management); Most popular being Fairplay (itunes) or Windows DRM.



If someone really wants, either can be broken quite easily.



Here is a simple DRM for you. Put the video file in a portable drive, then lock that drive away.

In most video editing programmes there is a facility to add protection to your discs at the output/produce stage, I don't think this is what you are looking for however as this protection is to prevent unauthorised copying, I haven't heard of any protection of the type you are describing. However, like everything else, there is a way round this. When you burn your finished disc DO NOT Finalise it. Then the disk will ONLY play in the burner/drive that made it.
