so i went and bought virus/spyware protection and downloaded it and run virus scans on my computer everyday or every other day. but almost every time i go to a website, i still web pages popping up advertising some random thing, even with pop-up blocker. also random times my computer screen will go blank except for my background on my desktop, icons and all so i will have to restart my computer......all i know to do was get virus protection from best buy so im not sure if there is still somethin wrong or not.

It may not be your problem. It may be the design of that web-site. You should not go to that web-sit again.
