You can go to aol.com, click on keyword, enter security, and download all of their security systems for free. I had Norton. The subscription ran out. I downloaded aol's security pkg. I had a Living waterfalls screensaver I downloaded from freeze.com. Norton never picked it up, but the very first time aol's security scanned my system, it found spyware in the screensaver, and deleted it from my system! Needless to say, I deleted all of the living screensavers that I downloaded from freeze.com.

XP comes with a firewall... Control Panel.. Windows Firewall. But if you need antivirus I dont recommend free. Try Nortons
