Ecrypt / Hide folders in Win XP Pro?

I have certain folders in my computer that i dont want anyone to access. Is it possible that i can hide/encrypt these files so that the only way to access these files is by using the password.

I have my own log in in Win XP. But i want an added protection so that even if someone manages to get into my profiles, they will not be able to access the files

right click the files then click on add to zip then

use a password. on the winzip copy down the password on a notebook so you dont forgret the password the put all the zip files in 1 folder then right click that folder and click on add to zip use a password
