Pop-Up Virus!?

I think my pc has a pop-up virus because, it kept opening millions of blank tabs a couple of times before.

I have McAfee, and when I did an online scan, it said I had no virus protection programs. Also every time I've scanned my computer lately, it had come up with no spyware or viruses detected at all and when I'm on msn and people send me something, it fails to scan it.

I had AVG and Ad-aware installed before this, but got rid of them a while ago, because I thought McAfee would work better.

Should I remove McAfee and re-install AVG and Ad-aware?

.................idk
I'd get avg back, I have it and it's very good (I think so at least but many others too actually), but u must know that none of these softwares can detect completely all of spywares and viruses, so it's better to have more of those progs, for example I have spybot, avg and spyware doctor (it's ok for me but lot of people says it's crap actually, but dunno) and if spybot for example don't detect anything after scan, avg does and vice versa, just search for some more info and feedbacks on different softwares here and get some
Actually mine has done that at least twice before. I think it was because my computer was being all slow.
Error killer: Though not as thorough as Reg Cure did manage to find and fix the majority of errors on some of our systems. Even though our first choice is Reg Cure, http://www.errorkiller.com/index.php?hop... Error Killer still provided us with an extremely thorough scan and managed to fix many errors that other services could not.
