What's with these popups???

So I installed all the windowsupdates at once, one day. Then I installed the googletoolbar then removed it when this started to happen. I am pelted with numerous popups all saying I have a trojan, spyware, virus warnings, I should get protection and practically everyone tells me to download these three softwares:

BestSeller Antivirus/Storage Protector/Onlinehelpmate. (B/S/O) How peculiar is that? Here are what some popups say:

SystemAlertbubble:Infected w/black door trojan. Dwnld (B/S/O)

SystemSecurityCaution: Trojan TJ/BZ infection attempt. Dwnld (B/S/O).

Systemdefender: Remote pc trying to access private info. Spyworm.win32. Dwnld (B/S/O)

SecurityAlert bubble:Computer infected w/last versions of psw.x-vir trojan. (Trojan spm/lx) Dwnld(B/S/O)

MInternexplorer-Protectioncenter:Virus protection not found download (B/S/O).

I can't afford a virusblocker. I have ad-aware. Plan to dwnld spybot,AVG,windows defnder. Will these help? Or is there something else wrong here? Thanks So much!

Are they "grey" popup windows? If so, read the following:

Don't worry, you're not infected and you didn't do anything wrong. Spammers are out there sending MS Messenger "messages" to lists of IP addresses. It's all by chance that they eventually count up to your IP address.
