I got a virus; I'm no computer n00b but I need help.

Right it keeps coming back somehow even when I get rid ofit. I'm pretty sure It's deleated Task manager and please it keeps bring up stuff telling me to download spyware protection :( HELP!!!

Start at the top of this list. Install the products one at a time and then install all of their updates. Have each one complete a full scan before proceeding to the next one. One of these *should* fix your problem. Keep in mind that everyone of these things is either free of charge or open source. When you're done, be sure to go to Windows Update and apply ALL of the patches.

Run a virus scan. Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at http://fixit.in/antivirus.html and http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html . You can also run a free registry scan using utilities from http://re7.info
Go to www.pack.google.com and ownload spyware doctor and norton they are th eonly thingsi can find that get rid of viruses.
Get an Apple if you have to get a new computer, no viruses!
