Can anyone help with my memory card??

its a SanDisk1.0GB SD

(thats everything on the card)

at the moment it hasnt been working in my camera aka it wont let me take pictures, saying "memory card is write protected"

i know that the problem is my card and not my camera as when i put the card into the computer and try to delete photos from it, it says "Cannot delete [photo name]: the disk is write-protected. Remove the write protection.."

it also wont let me format the memory card

what should i do??

Isn't there a very tiny little white switch that locks your SD card? Just slide it to unlock and this should fix your problem.

It is quite easy to move this when trying to install into a card reader sometimes. I get frustrated when mine does this too. Sure doesn't lock very well into position. lol

check around the card, see whether there is a lock or not. If you see it, then push it up or down (opposite side as currently is was)
