MacBook vs. MacBook which one should I get?

I am currently a sophomore in college with an iMac with a 1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo processor and 1 GB of RAM. But I am going to study abroad next semester in Chile and I'm in need of a laptop and I'm debating which kind to get.

1.) MacBook - 2.0 GHz Intel, 2 GB of RAM, 120 Hard Drive, and Apple Care Protection Plan -- $1385.00

2.) MacBook - 2.2 GHz Intel, 1 GB of RAM, 120 Hard Drive, and Apple Care Protection Plan -- $1382.00

3.) MacBook - 2.2 GHz Intel, 2 GB of Ram, 120 Hard Drive, and Apple Care Protection Plan -- $1517.00

Keep in mind price is a very important factor (all figured with education discount). I use computer for every day functions, nothing out of the ordinary. Which one is the best?

I would go for the 1st one just mainly because of the 1gb ram and only a different in 3 bucks. 2.2 ghz and 2.0 ghz isnt as noticeable as a difference in 1gb of ram.

Remember to get a outlet converter when you goto Chile. They dont have the same outlets. Good luck with school.

I'd go with number one. All those specs excede the ones on my MacBook, and mine still runs like a charm!

I'd definitely aim for more RAM if that's your biggest decision.
Yeah, I agree. Go for 1), that's what I have, except only 80 GB hard drive. RAM is more important than hard drive. And definitely get the Apple Care.
If you have the money get the best comfigured Macbook.

If you're on a budget then get the cheapest one...
