Why are people so wierd about guns?

Seriously, there is no right that says we can kill people. Target practice, hunting, protection, whatever. If people want to kill then they are gonna kill. Ever heard of knives? Or bow and arrows? Last time I checked poison still is lethal. Why do people think we should ban guns? Is every man who owns a gun a redneck who shoots squirrels? Is every black guy whom owns a gun a gangster that pistol whips his hoes and kills bloods and cripz? If we banned guns the killing rate would not reduce, murder would contiue to stay at its steady pace. Do you want red america? Do you want our goverment to controll everything that you own? NRA is not crazy, they dont shoot everybody, they just like thier guns. Just like some of us like war medals or computer games. And just cause a kid plays with nerf guns doesnt mean he is gonna be in a gang or be a terrorist or murderer later. First of all nerf guns have nothing to do with guns other than the fact that they both fire projectiles.

Probably because when some loony gets hold of a gun/rifle, they tend to kill more innocent people, more quickly, than a loony with a knife or bow and arrow...depending on how good a shot you are with a bow and arrow though really!

People are weird about guns because they are uneducated on the advantages of owning and knowing how to use one. That's as complicated as it gets really...it's not rocket science.
im a redneck. i own guns. i love guns. hunting mainly. if they take them away i swear I will kill somebody. We have a right to own guns in the constitution!
People are afraid. If criminals with guns would just understand they are creating their own hell and understand cause and effect, noone would need guns.Until then we must vigorously train and continually test professionals so they use restaint.Once we all become enlightened, noone will cause any sentient being harm.
