SpywareSTOP (formerly SPY Bot) would anyone recommend? What aare y our experiences?

I want to get some sort of spyware and have heard the Spyware STOP is good ~ to get the full version is 19.99 and active protection is 9.99. Are these good prices?

What exactly does spyware do? I know it may seem like a stupid question but when it comes to computers I'm sometimes clueless.

FYI The only reason I was considering to get it is because someone asked me if my computer was protected with any type of spyware and silly me didn't know what it was ~ so after doing research I think I should get it

Spybot Search and Destroy still is the ONLY legitimate Spybot.

Anything else is a rogue product attempting to capitalize on the good name. Don't support any other product with a like-sounding name, you'd be putting $$ in the hands of cheats.

SpywareStop is on the Spyware Warrior list of ROGUE antispyware for false-positives as a goad for purchasing. (*)
