Disk is write-protected?

I'm trying to get music from my computer onto my cell phone by following the instructions on the manual but I can't get the songs onto the removable disk because they're "write-protected." They're from limewire, how can I remove the write protection?

Try right clicking on the file and going to properties if read only is checked un-check it.
