Corrupt File?

I keep getting a message that says corrupt or unreadable file and it says I need to run chkdsk utility. The file name is $Secure and I have tried searching for this file to delete it but it is not found on my computer. Also I can't run Defrag or disk clean up. When I run chkdsk utility it does nothing. I can't install any virus protection programs. If there are any other solutions except for System Restore I would greatly appreciate them.

click start- run

type cmd

at prompt type

sfc/scannow

u may be prompted to insert ur xp cd

this will restore any missing or corrupt core files

have you just installed ie7 if so uninstall it and se if that helps

ps you apparently have virtually no protection against trojans so act now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
