Is there a way to disguise text in Microsoft Word as other text?

For example, say there is a document that I do not want others reading but that may be opened by a snoopy person using my computer, or by my mother, or my brother when he's fixing my computer. Is there a way to make text in a Microsoft Word document look like other text? i.e., a private letter look like a harmless short story? I know there is password protection, but I'm wondering if there is any disguise-text-as-other-text option, too.

Well, you could change all of your text to a graphical font after you finish writing it. It would look like gibberish unless they selected all, and selected a normal font (they probably would not be thinking in that manner when they saw your document)

I do this with my sis all the time I write an email select all change the font to Wingdings or Webdings and then she changes it back. It may work but only if you password protect it too. That way they can't modify it only you can and therefore they can't change the font. Also make sure that you give others NO rights so they can't copy and paste it to a new document. Also after saving it right click on it and make it Read Only then password protect it that way only you can remove the read only attribute thereby again making it so they can't copy it, or change the font.
