I have a basic wireless network set up in my home. A cable modem connected to a Netgear Wirless router. (Model WGR614 v6) just recently i noticed that any computers on this wireless network cannot download files. It would complete the online download, but when you wanted to install it on to the computer it would bring up a error message or a corrupted file error. This goes with any file that I want to download. Even updates for my virus protection software. It always shows that a file is corrupted. If anyone knows what this problem could be please let me know i would appreciate it. Thanks

Some wireless access points (I'm not familiar with that one) get hot enough under heavy load (like file downloading) that they actually shut completely down. Yours may just get hot enough to corrupt the files you're downloading.
Make sure that the router is adequately cooled (open air for at least 12" on all sides [except the bottom, obviously, but it should be sitting on a hard flat surface]) and not on another piece of equipment (which is probably throwing off heat).
If that doesn't fix it, it may be time for a new router. A Linksys WRT54G should run you under $50 these days.
