Broadband help:?

i have just signed up for broadband. my broadband is connected but it does not show up any page it says this page can not be displayed. i have tryed the firewall and the virus protection and it still does the same. i called them and the man said there is something in my computer thats stopping the connection from happening . plz help

I would make sure that the drivers for your lan are installed and working properly first. Here is how.

Go to control panel and open up systems.

Open the device manager and check under network adapters and make sure that your motherboard's lan is listed.

If it is not, put your install disk for your system in your pc and let windows install it.

If it is working, make sure that the cable's rj plug is not loose where it goes into the back of your pc.

And make sure the passwords are correct.
You may be haven configure your internet connection or your network card driver haven install ......
