McAfee Security Question?

when it says

Computer and files

internet and network

Email and IM

Parental controls

its also says the protection and on two of them they say not protected and its all red, so i click fix and this error pops up

"One or more problems could not have been fixed because of an error"

any help???????

I had same problem, and here is the recommended fix from Comcast (working link for Tool at bottom)

1. Uninstall all McAfee programs through "Add/Remove Programs" under the Windows "Control Panel". When prompted, restart your computer. (If no McAfee programs show up under your Add/Remove Programs, then skip this step.)

2. Run the McAfee Product Removal Tool (MCPR.exe): (click here to download). This removal tool will remove important McAfee remnants from your computer. (Note: you MUST have Windows XP SP2 or W2K Pro SP4 to use this tool.)

3. Launch Windows Explorer and delete any McAfee folders found in the 鈥淐:\Program Files鈥?folder. In addition, you will need to delete any McAfee folders found in the "C:\Document and Settings\%26lt;usenamer%26gt;\Application Data" folder. You may need to set Windows Explorer to show all hidden files and folders if you do not see the Application Data folder. (You can do this by clicking on Tools %26gt; Folder Options %26gt; View tab and then selecting "Show hidden files and folders"). Delete all McAfee folders found in EACH "Application Data" folder, even if they appear to be empty. Sometimes there is more than one McAfee folder to be found under each Application Data folder!

4. Reboot and reinstall your McAfee products again
